Our Pro Film Carrier 4x5 is a massive leap in large format and single frame film scanning. It’s unique hinge design with interchangeable masks for single cut negatives of all varieties from 35mm single frame and beyond is revolutionary. This film carrier was designed with zero compromises. It uses a CNC machined frame, custom locking knobs and control knobs, ANR glass and flush mounted magnets to ensure professional quality that meets the most exacting standards.
This film carrier system is the culmination of years of feedback and R&D and features a 100% precision machined assembly and numerous custom parts. Our unique clamshell ANR glass design allows two hinged pieces of glass to interlay on each other, and coupled with our proprietary floating hinge design ensures absolute film flatness.
The Pro Film Carrier 4×5 builds on the modularity of our system by not only featuring hinged design for easier and faster 4×5 film scanning but also supporting optional Pro Film Carrier 4x5 masks for single cut film sizes of numerous formats that can also be used for strips. The addition of this full complement of masks makes our Pro Film Carrier 4×5 the most universal and essential carrier we’ve ever offered. Now, you can scan up to 6×12 and 116/616 frames with a single capture with absolute light masking.
