Featuring a 2x (35mm equivalent) magnification and minimum focusing distance of about 7.5" it strikes a nice balance between just close enough and not so close you’ll cast shadows on the scene. It’s also worth noting that the 60mm Macro features an extremely bright f/2.8 maximum aperture for superb low-light performance and advanced construction employing no less than 13 separate lens elements in 10 groups including some high-end glass materials to help eliminate chromatic aberrations.
