Nikon SB-R200 Wireless Remote Speedlight
The SB-R200 Wireless Remote Speedlight is both compact and lightweight, making it an ideal choice for close-up and general photography. It is fully compatible with the Nikon Creative Lighting System (CLS) and boasts easy-to-use analog controls for quick adjustments. It is perfect for off-camera use as a wireless slave flash. Trigger it with the SU-800 Wireless Speedlight Commander, CLS-compatible speedlights with commander modes, or the iTTL-supported built-in flash on many Nikon DSLRs. With a guide number of 33' at ISO 100, this speedlight has a wide flash distribution that can cover lenses as wide as 24mm. Its head can be tilted downwards 60° and upwards 45°, giving photographers control over where the light falls on their subject. Additionally, the built-in white LED can assist with autofocus in low-light situations, and the speedlight supports high-speed sync modes. Powered by a single CR123A lithium battery, it can recycle in just 6 seconds when using full power.
The SB-R200 has a specialized shoe that can fit into the included AS-20 Speedlight Stand or the optional SX-1 Attachment Ring for mounting directly to a lens. It also comes with a filter holder and color filter set for color correction or specialized lighting effects.

Thanks to Nikon’s i-TTL flash control along with its built-in target light and AF Illuminator, the SB-R200 allows for proper positioning of the Speedlight in relation to the subject, as well as autofocus operation in low-light situations, to always ensure brilliantly lit images.

The SB-R200 makes an excellent light source as part of a complete lighting system. It can be set to one of three Speedlight groups and integrates perfectly into multiple flash situations including the SB-910, SB-900, SB-800, SB-700, SB-600, and/or SB-500 Speedlight units. The SB-R200 also offers four independent channels for shooting in competitive environments.
