Features a selection of our most popular diffusion materials used to create a wide variety of effects, ranging from a subtle softening of the beam edge to creating a large shadowless area.
Diffusions are used to spread a projected beam of light over a subject. As the light is diffused over a larger area, shadows will be reduced and some loss of light may be seen. The stronger the diffusion, the greater and more even the resultant spread of light will be. Diffusions can also be used to smooth out beam edges in tight spaces or when lighting cycloramas.

216 White Diffusion 1 1/2 Stops (NFR)
250 Half White Diffusion 3/4 Stops (NFR) A medium diffusion used for soft light effects. Manufactured on a tough Polyester base in a range of seven strengths.
251 Quarter White Diffusion 1/3 Stops (NFR) A weak diffusion used for soft light effects. Manufactured on a tough Polyester base in a range of seven strengths.
253 Hampshire Frost A light frost effect
400 LEELux 1 ½ Stops (NFR) A dense white diffuser used for wide beam spreads; creates an even, soft, field of light without shadows. Manufactured on a 125 micron polyester base.
410 Opal Frost A weak diffusion used for softening spotlight beam edges without altering shape. Manufactured on a 23 micron polyester base.
