We are looking to grow our photo lab team that we launched last year.
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated part-time Photo Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing, printing, and scanning both film and digital images while providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with our internal team to ensure their images are developed to the highest standard and assist with other duties within our Photo Lab.
We are seeking a part time lab tech to work approximately 20-30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process film using various chemical processes (C-41, E-6, B&W).
- Scan negatives and slides, ensuring optimal resolution and quality.
- Print digital and film images using high-end photo printers.
- Maintain and clean lab equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Inspect processed images for quality and correct any issues.
- Assist customers with their orders and provide technical knowledge about lab services.
- Manage digital files, ensuring proper organization and archiving.
- Ensure turnaround times are met, while maintaining accuracy and high-quality standards.
- Keep the lab area clean and organized, following safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the Photo Lab & Sales teams to improve workflow and processes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a photo lab or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Knowledge of various film formats and processing techniques.
- Familiarity with scanning and printing software (e.g., Epson, Noritsu, Adobe Photoshop).
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Passion for photography and understanding of the photographic community.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs as required to handle materials and equipment.
Glazer’s Compensation Package for Part-Time Employees Includes:

Salary DOE, starting $24 hourly.
