What is the Glazer's Camera Used Department?

Our Used Department specializes in pre-owned camera equipment that has been carefully inspected, tested, and graded by our expert technicians. We offer a wide selection of used cameras, lenses, lighting, video equipment, and accessories at competitive prices.

How do you grade used equipment?

All used equipment is thoroughly inspected and assigned a condition rating:

  • Excellent (E): Minimal signs of use, functions perfectly, may have very minor cosmetic marks
  • Excellent Plus (E+): Like new condition with virtually no signs of use
  • Very Good (VG): Light wear from normal use, fully functional, may have minor cosmetic blemishes
  • Good (G): Moderate wear, fully functional, visible cosmetic wear but does not affect performance
  • Fair (F): Heavy wear, fully functional, significant cosmetic wear

All items are fully tested to ensure proper functionality regardless of cosmetic condition.

What is included with used equipment?

Each product listing specifies what's included. This may vary from item to item - some come with original boxes and all accessories, while others may include only the essential items needed for operation. Always check the product description for specific details.

What is the warranty on used equipment?

Glazer's Camera provides a 90-day warranty on all used equipment purchases.

Our warranty covers:

  • Defects in materials and workmanship
  • Mechanical failures under normal use
  • Electronic malfunctions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from accidents, misuse, or abuse
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect functionality
  • Water damage or environmental damage
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

What if I have a problem with my used equipment?

If you experience any issues within the 90-day warranty period, contact us immediately. We'll work with you to diagnose the problem and provide a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.

Can I return used equipment?

Yes! Used equipment purchases are eligible for return within our standard return policy timeframe of X days. Please check our return policy for specific details and conditions.

Is used equipment tested before sale?

Absolutely. Every piece of used equipment is thoroughly tested by our experienced technicians. We check all functions, test autofocus accuracy, verify shutter mechanisms, inspect sensor condition, and ensure all features work as intended. 

Do you provide shutter count information?

No OR Yes, when available, we include shutter count information for used camera bodies in the product description. This helps you understand how much the camera has been used.

What's included with used equipment?

Each product listing specifies what's included. Items in Mint or Excellent condition typically include original packaging and accessories. Items in lower grades may come with generic packaging or aftermarket accessories, which will be clearly stated in the description. List # of batteries and/or cables, sometimes chargers are the USB cable(?) Need more information here.

If you would like to use and test a product we have a Rentals location with equipment you can rent for a day, week or extended amount of time. Add more copy and link. 

Can I inspect used equipment before purchasing?

If you're shopping in our store, you're welcome to inspect any used item before purchase. For online orders, we provide photos and condition ratings to help you make an informed decision.

Can I return a used item if I'm not satisfied?

Absolutely. We stand behind our condition ratings and offer a satisfaction guarantee. If the item doesn't match our description, you can return it within our standard return period. Please review our return policy for complete details.

How often does your used inventory change?

Our used inventory changes daily as we receive trade-ins and consignment items. Check back frequently or contact us if you're looking for something specific - we may be able to notify you when it becomes available. 

Do you accept trade-ins?

Yes! We accept trade-ins on a wide range of photography equipment. Trade-in credit can be applied toward any purchase, including used equipment. Contact us for a trade-in quote.

Are used items eligible for financing?

Many used items are eligible for financing options online only. Check the product page or contact us for details on available financing for your purchase.
