The Nikon Tour Experience

Location: The Collective - Slacktide, 2nd Floor Lobby

Nikon is bringing their nationwide tour to PhotoFest with a truck packed full of the latest Nikon cameras and lenses, all available to try for free throughout the weekend.

Get hands-on with new gear, test lenses in real-world shooting scenarios, and explore Nikon’s interactive Photo Booth, Seattle-inspired Tattoo Parlor, and join one of their creator-led photowalks!

The Nikon Tour Experience is built to help you create, learn, and get inspired alongside fellow photographers and filmmakers. Be sure to stop by the Nikon Kiosk inside The Collective.

The complimentary Professional Check & Clean service for your Fujifilm X/GFX cameras and lenses includes sensor cleaning, firmware updates, and comprehensive equipment check to ensure your gear is in optimal condition. Bootsy Holler Artist Talk & Book Signing

Join Seattle-rooted photographer Bootsy Holler for a special evening celebrating the release of her new book, MAKiNG iT: An Intimate Documentary of the Seattle Indie, Rock & Punk Scene 1992–2008. Returning from Los Angeles to revisit the city and creative community that helped shape her career, Bootsy will share the journey of transforming years of imagery into a published book.

An Interactive Studio Experience Powered by Godox, RØDE & Tether Tools

Step inside The Godox Lab at PhotoFest and explore a fully built, real-world studio environment designed for photographers, filmmakers, and content creators who want to elevate their lighting and production skills. Throughout the weekend, The Collective’s Slacktide space transforms into a hands-on creative lab featuring professional Godox LED and strobe lighting setups alongside workflow tools from RØDE and Tether Tools to complete the modern studio experience.


Between featured programs, attendees are invited to drop in, experiment with the gear, and learn directly from Godox representative Galvin Collins, whose extensive studio and production experience makes this an incredible opportunity to ask questions, test setups, and see how professional lighting techniques come together in real shooting scenarios. From shaping cinematic light to understanding efficient studio workflow, Galvin will be available throughout the weekend to guide participants.

Bring your camera and get hands-on with studio lighting during PhotoFest at the Westcott Lighting Studio. Experiment with lighting setups, modifiers, backgrounds, and creative techniques in a fun, low-pressure environment.

Westcott’s Jake Collins will be on hand throughout the weekend sharing tips, answering questions, and helping you explore the latest Westcott gear while you shoot and create.
