MagMod MagShoe 2
The MagShoe is a universal, ergonomic cold shoe bracket you can operate with one hand. Just slide in your flash, turn the lock 90 degrees and you’re golden. It’s a must-have for any photographer who wants to work faster, easier and awesome-er.
The MagShoe 2 includes an upgrade in materials and design to support the larger MagBox Pro softboxes like the MagBox Pro 42 Octa and MagBox Pro 36 Strip.

Hold or Attach
MagMod's ergonomic design enables you to switch between holding the MagShoe or attaching it to a flash stand. With just one hand, you can easily operate MagShoe V2 on any of larger MagBox Pro softboxes.

Can’t I just keep using my original MagShoe for the new MagBox Pro series softboxes?
Not necessarily. The MagShoe 2 was specifically designed and upgraded to deal with the increased stress caused by the additional weight and mass of the MagBox Pro 36 Strip and the MagBox Pro 42 Octa like a champ, and it is not recommended you use an original MagShoe with them.
While the original MagShoe can be used with the MagBox Pro 24 Octa, an upgrade to a MagShoe 2 is still recommended for the additional strength and security it offers.
I’ve lost a knob off my MagShoe 2, do I have to replace the whole thing?
No. Please reach out to us and we’ll be happy to help you get a new knob so you can get back to shooting.
Will the MagShoe 2 work with my light stand?
The MagShoe 2 is compatible with any light stand with a ¼-20 or 5/8" (16mm) stud/spigot, which are the industry standard.
