Red leg tips create a visual "stop sign" to bystanders who might otherwise get too close and trip over the stand, risking damage to your lights and those around you.

How it works:
Air is the main support. Rather than using clumsy (and slow) mechanical locks this stand can be extended to any position along its travel by simply pulling up on the main column. Air is drawn-in as the stand is extended, which provides an incredibly strong load handling ability. To lower the column just squeeze its two release buttons while pulling down. This releases the air as the column slowly and safely shrinks in height.
