The Macro-Elmar-M 90 f/4 is a particularly compact telephoto lens with macro function, only about 59mm long when retracted and designed to bring unparalleled precision and versatility to the Leica M-System. It is made of four lens elements arranged in four groups. The lens impresses with its remarkable sharpness, high contrast, and the natural look of its bokeh. The close focus distance is only 77 cm, which can be shorted to just 41 cm with the optional Leica Macro-Adapter-M. This facilitates extreme close-ups with a maximum reproduction ratio of 1:2.
