Leica E49 Slim Filter Red

This Red Filter enhances monochromatic imagery by amplifying tonal separation and contrast. It darkens skies dramatically while maintaining detail in lighter areas, effectively simulates nocturnal conditions through selective underexposure, and cuts through atmospheric haze. With infrared film, it produces exceptional contrast that renders skies nearly black while preserving subject definition.

When using this red filter on CCD-based M Monochrom cameras, the light meter will register higher values than the sensor actually receives. Compensate by increasing exposure by approximately 1/3 to 2/3 of a stop to achieve proper metering accuracy.
