Engineered to Perform. In Any Environment.

Minimalist, full of character and resolutely individual. The Leica SL3 Reporter is designed for those who forge their own path and express their distinct perspective through authentic photography. Its design conveys both restraint and resilience in equal measure. Unbound by convention or passing trends, it brings together design, performance and durability to form a camera that provides outstanding precision.

Discover the distinctive aesthetics and robustness of the Leica full-frame camera.

The SL3 Reporter continues a longstanding tradition of cameras purpose-built for exceptional durability. The scratch-resistant olive-green finish and robust aramid trim ensure maximum functionality even in the harshest conditions, while also defining the distinctive aesthetics that make the Reporter design so highly regarded. This design variant builds on the cutting-edge technology of the Leica SL3. Its 60 MP full-frame sensor with Triple Resolution Technology allows images to be captured at 60, 36, or 18 megapixels, and supports video recording at up to 8K resolution. An intuitive operating concept, clearly divided into photo and video functions, makes working with the SL3 Reporter a real pleasure. Seamless connectivity to the Leica FOTOS App, with extensive options for editing and sharing, ensures a professional workflow. Quality and precision “Made in Germany”.

Exceptional Down to Its Very Fibre

See how far you can go and rely on the SL3 Reporter to take you there – a camera built to withstand even the harshest conditions, thanks to its scratch-resistant olive-green finish, aramid fibre trim and the most exacting manufacturing standards. This is a camera that faithfully follows wherever your vision leads. The bold yet understated design, purposefully omitting the red Leica logo, enables close engagement with the action while demonstrating a distinctive character.

Almost Inseparable

Aramid fibres are woven with such density that they are nearly impossible to separate. They create a striking fabric with a unique aesthetic that consistently shields the SL3 Reporter, even in challenging environments. At the same time, the unique structure enhances grip, offering markedly greater stability and hold when photographing and filming. Over time, the trim acquires a unique patina, bearing the marks of its photographic journey and embodying the character of a true reportage camera.

Maximum Precision – Whatever the Conditions

The SL3 Reporter merges the tried-and-tested technical brilliance of the SL3 with an especially robust design. Equipped with a 60 MP full-frame sensor featuring Triple Resolution Technology and a Maestro IV processor, it delivers outstanding photo and video quality, integrates effortlessly into professional workflows with seamless connectivity, and offers intuitive customisation. Engineered for exceptional durability and proudly “Made in Germany”, the SL3 Reporter is built to perform reliably, even in the most demanding conditions.
