All cameras come pre-installed with the vintage filter. If that's the effect you're looking for, then there is no need to update.

How To Change The Filter Effect On Your Camera:
- Copy a filter file (.flt) to the root directory of your camera
- When you boot the camera "CUS" will appear for a second. This means it loaded a custom filter.
- Please note, the camera can only load one custom filer at a time. If you have multiple on the camera, it will pick the first one it sees. We recommend only having one filter file on the camera at a time.
- Take some epic photos!
Firmware Update Instructions:
- Connect camera to your computer using a USB cable
- Copy the .bin file to the root folder of your camera
- Disconnect your camera from your computer
- Turn on your camera, shutter will turn green and red while updating
- In a few seconds the camera will shut off.
Make sure your camera has at least 50 percent power so it does not power off in the middle of the update

Can I upload photos to my phone? Do I need a special app?
If your phone has a USB-C port, CampSnap will show up as an external drive in your file browser—no app required.
Note: Not compatible with Lightning ports (older iPhones).

The Camp Classic filter comes pre-installed. If you want to try something new, we’ve got a variety of downloadable filters—or you can create your own.
