Are You Ready for the next Solar Eclipse?

On October 14, 2023 there will be an Annular Eclipse of the Sun that can be viewed from Oregon to Texas.

On April 8, 2024 the U.S. will be under the path of a Total Solar Eclipse.

Not only are these rare, but the next one won't happen for another 20 years. You don't want to miss this once in a lifetime event.

It is not too early to plan for the best viewing experience!

The MrStarGuy Professional Solar Viewing Glasses are designed not only for astronomical enthusiasts but for everyone wanting to safely view solar events. Looking directly at the sun is dangerous at any time, but even more so when viewing a solar eclipse. Using inexpensive or free Mylar glasses is not the safest way to view these events. Pinholes, creases in the material and ineffective coating can let through sunlight that will harm your eyes. Even letting in 1% of the sun’s rays can permanently damage your eyes.

In consideration of maximum security, the MrStarGuy Professional Solar Viewing Glasses use high-quality shielding plate "SolarProteck". "SolarProteck" is a special shielding plate with an Aluminum Vacuum Evaporation Finish on optical absorbent acrylic material. It possesses outstanding shielding performance in every aspect of visible light transmission rate, ultraviolet transmission rate, infrared transmission rate, and it is in conformity with Japanese Industrial Standards (Regulation Number: JIS T-8141).

In addition, to lessen any direct sunlight, so-called “reflection light”, against eyes during observation, the MrStarGuy Solar Viewing Glasses have a unique face mask design. This was created after input from research facilities, ophthalmologists and observatories. The MrStarGuy Professional Solar Glasses have been certified by Japanese and European agencies. You can be assured that you and your family will have the safest viewing experiences to enjoy the upcoming solar eclipses.

The MrStarGuy “Eclipse Glass”, uses the high-quality shielding plate "SolarProteck", which is well recognized for its outstanding safety by the Japanese committee of IYA (International Year of Astronomy 2009) and the “Eclipse Glass” was acknowledged as a integral part of the official eclipse observation kit. The “Eclipse Guidebook”, which was created with the cooperation of Japanese committee of IYA 2009, comes with this Solar Glass.

Safely Observe the Solar Eclipse

Never look directly at the sun with your unprotected eyes. This is due to a risk associated with very strong Sun light and heat. In the worst case, there is a risk of blindness.

A rare retinal disorder, which is caused by watching a solar eclipse using poor equipment, is called “Eclipse Retinopathy”. This disorder was widely reported years after previous solar eclipses.

Therefore, you must be careful to read the instruction manual about the correct observation techniques and appropriate observation equipment.

Usage Instructions

1) To Ensure that you have protected your eyes, it is a good idea to wear a cap with a brim.

2) Hold the StarGuy Professional Solar Viewing Glass as shown in the diagram to the left.

3) Place the StarGuy Professional Solar Eclipse Glass in front of your face. Make sure both eyes are behind the "shielding plates"

4) When you have competed the previous steps, you are now ready to view the sun or a solar eclipse.
