Canon Expands the PowerShot G Series With 2 New Additions: The G5X Mark II & G7X Mark III

0.39-type OLED Pop-up EVF with Approx. 2.36 Million Dots
The PowerShot G5 X MARK II camera features a 0.39-inch OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) built-in pop-up EVF with approx. 2.36 million dots – making the camera compact in size. The electronic viewfinder (EVF) provides a bright, sharp and colorful view of the subject at hand, and shows a crisp and vivid image with minimal distortion, even when the eye moves off the center of the visual field.
Touch and Drag AF
Equipped with Touch and Drag AF, the PowerShot G5 X MARK II camera makes it easy to select a focus point quickly without taking your eye away from the viewfinder. Using the Touchscreen LCD, it's as simple as pointing to the desired area of focus. The chosen AF point is then displayed in the camera's EVF for quick confirmation.
Continuous Shooting up to 20 fps (up to 30 fps with RAW Burst Mode).
With autofocus tracking on to help keep your shots sharp, you can maintain the speed and shoot at up to 20.0 fps. The PowerShot G5 X MARK II can also shoot at up to 30.0 fps during RAW burst mode – ideal for sports, wildlife, moving subjects or anything unpredictable.
Star Shooting Mode
Make any starry sky easier to capture with the help of the star shooting mode on the PowerShot G5 X Mark II camera. With just an optional tripod, you can capture exquisite Star Trails and Star Time-Lapse Movies. The modes can be performed fully automatically or with manual controls for extra versatility.
